Week 7 Post (Zen Garden)
Our final class project is to create a Zen Garden Using on CSS. The HTML has been given to us so technically we can't even use that. What is a Zen Garden you ask? A zen garden is a place of absolute relaxation (to yourself), a place of absolute serenity. It could be a beach, or a cabin, or a mountain top breathing the fresh air. For me, it is a comfortable couch with a controller in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other watching some football. People are welcome to enter and partake, but do not disturb the other persons place of zen, absolute quit is required. Unless the home team scores. Target audience? sport fans of any ages. Obviously i imagine 20 somethings males and up to gravitate towards this "Man Cave", but i truly would like to keep it open to anyone, or any age, who has a high sports IQ, and will not talk too much. We'll let the announcers do the talking. Why a Man Cave? Every Sunday i just want to watch football, preferably my San Francisco 49ers play but every Sunday i am either at work or running errands for family members. When i am fortunate enough to have time off, people will interrupt the game, talking to me, how nice it is that i am home, complaining that i am ignoring them, who's playing?, what's going on?!?!?!? Not in the Sports Cave my friends, not in my Zen Garden.
Class Update
Nothing much to report, actually tons, but not sure where to start. Quarter is winding down. Currently working on my Zen Garden. Brain-Stormed a great idea (in my humble opinion) So I'm looking forward to the assignment. Trying to finish up as many assignments as i can to rack up points for my final grade. I am learning a lot and have come to the conclusion that you can my really strong websites with only HTML and css. Of course i hope to learn more and incorporate other language in future projects, i think it is essential to master HTML and CSS.
